02.
Comprehensive Hearing Test
This refers to a full diagnostic hearing assessment, which is performed by an Audiologist in a sound-proof booth. The purpose of this assessment is to determine if a hearing loss exists. If so, the Audiologist can establish the cause, type and severity of the hearing loss, as well as plan for treatment.
The Audiologist will perform a variety of outer, middle and inner ear teats to independently test each part of the ear. The entire assessment process is comfortable, painless and safe. This valuable assessment will require one hour of your time

03.
At Hearing Works our Audiologists understand and empathise with you on how hearing loss can impact your life, this is one of the motivators of our career choice. We will combine our learned expertise and earned experience to find a solution that best meets your needs, lifestyle and budget.
The price of your hearing aid is not necessarily determined by the severity of your hearing loss or what the hearing aids look like. The cost of the hearing aid is determined by the type and number of features they have. These features perform various functions at different technology levels to offer you (the user) different benefits for specific environments.
04.
Hearing Aid Evaluation
& After Care Program
As part of the comprehensive hearing test at Hearing Works, the Audiologist will also provide you with a free one-week hearing aid evaluation to test-drive any of the latest digital hearing aids that have been carefully recommended for you.

Included with all hearing aid purchases, our bespoke hearing aftercare program is individually tailored to your needs and is included as standard practice, at no additional charge.
05.
Tinnitus Counselling
At Hearing Works, our Audiologists provide tinnitus counselling as part of our standard full audiological assessment, when indicated. Should you require further management and/or support, we will refer you for tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) and/or cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with the appropriate trusted professional.
06.
Corporate & Industrial Services
Hearing is crucial in the workplace. Whether at Wellness Days or expos, Hearing Works Audiologists can assess and report on industry and HR related processes. We conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic hearing tests as requested. Further recommendations are made based on the individual’s results.

07.
Hearing Protection Devices
At Hearing Works, our Audiologists advocate that “prevention is always better than cure”.
The Audiologist can provide you with two solutions: instant-fit hearing protection and custom-fit hearing protection.
Instant-fit hearing protection: These are made-to-purchase earplugs and are suitable for any age; no appointment is required.
Custom-fit hearing protection: These are custom-made to suit the individual and are suitable for any age. These earplugs offer hearing protection at its best. A short appointment with the Audiologist is required for impression-taking of your ear canals. This is a short, painless and safe procedure.
Whether instant-fit or custom-fit hearing protection, Hearing Works offers solutions that cater for swimming, sleeping, musicians, DJ’s, bikers, pilots, shooting/hunting, traveling, parties, and general noisy situations.
08.
Ear Wax Removal
Hearing Works offers an ear wax removal service for any wax that may be obstructing your ear canal. The Audiologists are trained to delicately remove and manage wax in the ear canal. When it is necessary, the Audiologist will refer you to a trusted ENT for further treatment and will follow up with you after the treatment was completed.
09.
School Hearing Screenings
Early identification of hearing loss is critical for adequate speech and language development. Hearing Works Audiologists recognise this need and are therefore available to travel to your pre-school and primary school to screen children from 3 years of age. A results report is provided to the parent of every child screened. A nominal fee is required for this screening service and must be arranged in advance with the applicable Hearing Works Audiologist.
